2nd Meeting of the BSEC-URTA ad hoc Working Party on Insurance

The 2nd meeting of the BSEC-URTA ad hoc Working Party on Insurance was held at Pullman Hotel in Bucharest on 7 September 2016.

BSEC-URTA Members (AEBTRI, TOBB, UND, represented by TOBB-UND) and invited insurance companies (BULSTRAD Vienna Insurance Group (Bulgaria), Unison (Georgia), Moldcargo (Moldova), Vector Broker (Romania), Rosgosstrakh (Russia), Crea (Turkey) as well as TOBB-UND, a joint service company by TOBB and UND, participated in the meeting.

As outcome of the meeting, the Working Party agreed on the followings:

1.     Do a market analysis for regional comparative analysis of existing insurance products by country.

2.     Develop contacts with insurance companies and associations.

3.     Do a legal analysis of possible first steps by BSEC-URTA based on Rosgosstrakh’s vision presentation.

4.    Hold the next meeting of the Working Party in Istanbul on 22 November 2016 back-to-back with forthcoming meeting of the BSEC-URTA General Assembly upon completion of the above steps for strategy review
