Kick starting for the creation of fully digital TIR corridors across Eurasia

TIR Digitalisation Seminar was held on 5 September 2018 in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was hosted by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and jointly organised by IRU, BSEC, BSEC-URTA and ABADA, and under the patronage of the UNECE TIR Secretariat.

Senior customs officials and TIR associations as well as other seminar attendees analysed the results and expansion of pilot projects between Turkey and Iran; Georgia and Turkey; Turkey and Ukraine; and along the Batumi corridor (linking Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan). Regional cooperation agreement on TIR digitalisation was also drafted.
