International Road Transport: Problems, Solutions, Prospects

The 19th International Conference "International Road Transport: Problems, Solutions, Prospects" was held on 4-5 September 2019 in Odessa, Ukraine. It was jointly organised by IRU and ASMAP UA. BSEC-URTA Secretary General, Mr. Adrian Albu, took part in this forum.

The conference was participated by high officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the State Boarder Guard Service of Ukraine, representatives of BSEC, GUAM, IRU and international road transporters from Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova Poland, Romania, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

The conference program consisted of four sessions. Participants had the opportunity to discuss the most essential issues of road transport development, the challenges that stand in the way of the sustainable development of the industry and steps needed to be done to develop the national economies and international road transport.

As a result of the meeting the Resolution was accepted.
