Usage of the BSEC Permit in Turkey

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey informed the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat (BSEC PERMIS) that, as of 1 July 2011 Turkey allows the holders of the actual BSEC Permit for transit, to extend its usage in Turkey to bilateral transport operations, too. In other words the holder of a BSEC Permit could carry goods from its own country to Turkey by transiting other participating countries to the project of the BSEC Permit or could load goods from Turkey to its own country and transit other countries participating to the project.
